The DAX in Frankfurt fell 0.6% to around 23,480 on Monday, mainly pressured by losses in auto shares and banks. Meanwhile, investors awaited remarks from several Fed officials, alongside key economic data this week, including PMI surveys for major economies. In the meantime, market participants closely monitored US President Donald Trump’s visa crackdown announced on Friday. On the corporate front, Porsche Automobil led losses with a 6.7% drop after lowering its 2025 profit forecast and postponing new electric models amid weak demand. Volkswagen, Porsche’s biggest shareholder, also declined about 5.5% in response. As of today, the leading index welcomes two new members: real estate platform operator Scout24 and plant manufacturer Gea, replacing sports car maker Porsche AG and laboratory supplier Sartorius, with both newcomers rising more than 2% at the open.
